Recipe constructed from various cherry smoothie recipes found online. Two versions of this recipe were tested: the one below as written and for the second test recipe coconut milk (canned and full fat) replaced plain yogurt and kefir.

Ingredients
- 2 cups rainier cherries, cleaned, stems removed and pitted
- 3/4 cup crushed ice (more or less)
- 3/4 cup plain yogurt (whole milk preferably)
- 3/4 cup plain kefir
- 2 tablespoons almonds, slivered
- 2 tablespoons honey or agave, approximately and to desired sweetness
- pinch black pepper or ground cardamom
