A twist on the mango lassi that uses fresh papaya and it's flavored with a bit of cardamom.

Ingredients

  • 2 small ripe papayas
  • 2 cups - plain yogurt
  • 4 to 5 - green cardamom, crushed to a powder (discard outer pod)
  • 4 - ice cubes
  • - suger (or powdered jiggery), as desired for sweetening

How To Make papaya lassi

  • Step 1
    Peel the papayas and remove seeds. Cut papaya into 1-inch cubes.
  • Step 2
    Add papaya chunks, crushed cardamom and sugar to a blender, and blend for 10 seconds. Add the yogurt and ice cubes, and blend again until smooth.
  • Step 3
    Divide among 3 glasses, add a straw to each glass, and serve immediately.
