mango sharbat
In this Indian version of sharbat, fresh fruit is tossed with sugar, frozen, and then served as either a slushy beverage or as an ice after a curry-laced meal. You're not limited to mango; any combination of fresh fruit and melon can be used.

Ingredients
- 4 cups mango, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
- - fresh mint, to garnish
How To Make mango sharbat

Step 1Toss the mango cubes with the sugar and lime juice in a plastic bag. Seal and freeze the sugarcoated mango cubes for at least 4 hours.

Step 2Combine the frozen mango cubes with the orange juice in a food processor or blender and puree for desired consistency: 1 to 2 minutes for coarse texture; 3 to 4 minutes for a smoother texture.

Step 3Serve in wine glasses, garnished with fresh mint.
