mango lassi with berries

From the cookbook "In Nirmala's Kitchen". I love the idea of the rosewater with the mango. Berries as garnish sound lovely with the tang of the mango.

Ingredients
- 30 ounces plain yogurt
- 2 cups ripe mango pulp (fresh or canned) about 1 large mango
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon rose water (optional)
- 1 cup mixed berries (raspberries and blueberries or whatever you want!)
- sprig mint for garnish (optional)
How To Make mango lassi with berries

Step 1In a blender, process all of the ingredients (except the berries and mint) with 1 cup of water until mixture is thick and smooth

Step 2Refrigerate for several hours. Add the fresh berries just before serving and garnish with mint sprigs, if using.
