this is a great smoothie if you like to spice things up

Ingredients

  • 2 small
    ripe bananas (frozen in chunks is preferred)
  • 1 medium
    orange, peeled and halved
  • 1/2 c
    pineapple, diced (fresh, frozen or canned i use fresh)
  • 1/2 to 2/3 c
    cream or milk
  • 2 Tbsp
    maple syrup or sugar, optional to taste
  • 3/4 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp
    ginger
  • 1/2 tsp
    nutmeg or pumpkin pie spice, optional
  • 1/2 tsp
    orange or vanilla extract

How to Make Citrus And Spice Smoothie

Step-by-Step

  1. combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. optionally, garnish with a slice of orange or pineapple or a sprinkle of cinnamon. serve immediately.
  3. note: all spices are to taste, if you prefer more or less spices, adjust amounts to your liking.
