We love these smoothies on those busy mornings and for a pick me up during the day.

Ingredients

2 c
fresh or frozen cheries
2 medium
bananas
1 tsp
lemon juice
6 oz
blended cherry yogurt
1 c
vanilla yogurt
1 1/2 c
vanilla soy milk (or regular milk + 1/2 tsp. vanilla)
1/2 tsp
almond extract

How to Make Cherry-Banana Smoothie

Step-by-Step

  • 1Pit the cherries and remove the stems.
  • 2Cut the banana into chunks.
  • 3Place all the ingredients in a blender.
  • 4Blend until smooth.
  • 5Pour into glasses and serve.
  • 6I use fresh cherries when they are available. When they aren't, I use frozen.
