We love these smoothies on those busy mornings and for a pick me up during the day.

Ingredients

  • 2 c
    fresh or frozen cheries
  • 2 medium
    bananas
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 6 oz
    blended cherry yogurt
  • 1 c
    vanilla yogurt
  • 1 1/2 c
    vanilla soy milk (or regular milk + 1/2 tsp. vanilla)
  • 1/2 tsp
    almond extract

How to Make Cherry-Banana Smoothie

Step-by-Step

  1. Pit the cherries and remove the stems.
  2. Cut the banana into chunks.
  3. Place all the ingredients in a blender.
  4. Blend until smooth.
  5. Pour into glasses and serve.
  6. I use fresh cherries when they are available. When they aren't, I use frozen.
