We love these smoothies on those busy mornings and for a pick me up during the day.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cheries
  • 2 medium bananas
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 6 ounces blended cherry yogurt
  • 1 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1 1/2 cups vanilla soy milk (or regular milk + 1/2 tsp. vanilla)
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract

How To Make cherry-banana smoothie

  • Step 1
    Pit the cherries and remove the stems.
  • Step 2
    Cut the banana into chunks.
  • Step 3
    Place all the ingredients in a blender.
  • Step 4
    Blend until smooth.
  • Step 5
    Pour into glasses and serve.
  • Step 6
    I use fresh cherries when they are available. When they aren't, I use frozen.
