This delicious tea is really a treat. It also has a number of health benefits for men and women alike of all ages.

Historically, women drank basil tea before and after childbirth for good blood circulation and to stimulate breastmilk production.

I currently am 36 weeks with our sixth son, so this couldn't have come at a better time.

You don't need a reason to enjoy, just brew away!

handfuls of fresh sweet basil (purple and green)
4 Tbsp
dark agave nectar
pineapple, cubed
1/2 c
dark brown or white sugar
6-8 c

How to Make Pineapple Basil Iced Sweet Tea


  • 1Place all ingredients in a lidded pot. Bring to a boil; stir until all sugar is dissolved.
  • 2Turn off heat. Place lid atop, and allow to brew for twenty minutes.
  • 3Then pour in a pitcher. Refrigerate overnight.
  • 4Serve over ice.
