My Mom is 91 and Always made this EggNog for every Christmas Party! People would ask as soon as they got the invitation to the party " is your Mom making her Eggnog?" The tradition has continued into my adulthood, and now on this 20th Annual Christmas Party I will make her Nog! And toast to her My Mummy! Merry Christmas!

Ingredients
- 12 - eggs separated
- 8 cups heavy cream
- 9 cups milk
- 2 cups white sugar
- 3 cups cups cognac or vs extra smooth brandy
- 1 cup dark or light run, not clear!
- 2 teaspoons real vanilla
- - nutmeg to taste or sprinkle on each cup
How To Make mummy's famous eggnog

Step 1separate the egg yolks. Save whites in separate bowl. Beat sugar, eggs and vanilla until very light and creamy. slowly add cream and milk. Add Cognac( or brandy) then add Rum.

Step 2If you are going to be serving it the same day... But I suggest waiting a day or even 2! You can whip the egg whites with a little sugar til just fluffy, but not too stiff! Then fold into the nog... serve with a little nutmeg on top...

Step 3However, if you are waiting to let the Nog "brew"... Put the whites in a covered bowl in the fridge, remove a half an hour before you intend on beating them , then add them to the brewed nog and serve as above.. ENJOY!
