This came out of same book as "Low Country Punch". Have not tried this one either, not sure about sage leave. If anyone tries this recipe, post a comment about what sage is supposed to do to the drink. Here goes.

Ingredients For kentucky mimosa

1/2cup sugar

6large sage leaves

1 1/2club soda

1cup orange juice

1/3cup bourbon
How To Make kentucky mimosa

1Stir together sugar and 1/2 cup water in small saucepan over medium heat, bring to light boil and cook, stirring occasionally, 3 minutes or till sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat, add sage leaves and let stand 5 minutes. Remove and discard leaves.

2Stir together syrup, club soda, orange juice and bourbon in large pitcher, add ice cubes to fill. Serve at once.
