This is the punch that I prepare for all my gatherings, such as, showers, school parties, Tupperware parties, etc. This is tried and true and goes down so easy!

Ingredients For it's time to party punch

  • 1/2
    cup of sugar
  • 2/3
    cup of tang (a powdered drink mix)
  • 1
    tablespoon of almond extract
  • 3
    cups of water
  • 2
    cups of cranberry juice (or) pineapple juice - your choice (for christmas or thanksgiving i do the cranberry juice and for summer holiday's and festivities i use the pineapple juice)

How To Make it's time to party punch

  • 1
    Mix all the ingredients together in a very large bowl or punch bowl. Cover with lid or foil and freeze without spilling, in the freezer until a slush forms or over night. (I freeze mine over night)

    When ready to serve, add one 2 liter bottle of Ginger ale (or Vernor's, if you are from Michigan)to create a frothy slush punch.

    May double or triple and keep in freezer for larger gatherings. (or can keep frozen mixture in freezer covered with a lid and scoop out individual servings into a cup and adding ginger ale to the cup separately to your individual guests if it is a smaller gathering. (and be able to use through out the holiday)
