My daughter gave me this recipe serveral years ago. She found it online and served it at a family get-together. You make up the base the day ahead, then add the ginger ale just before serving.

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 quart cranberry juice
- 2 cups unsweetened pineapple juice
- 3 tablespoons almond extract
- 1 - 2 liter bottle ginger ale
- - frozen cranberries for garnish, if desired
How To Make holiday punch

Step 1The day before, mix together sugar, cranberry juice, pineapple juice and almond extract. Refrigerate overnight.

Step 2Next day place juice mixture in a punch bowl, pour in ginger ale, garnish with some frozen cranberries and serve.
