Ingredients
- 6 - eggs
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 pint borden vanilla ice cream
- 4 cups borden egg nog
- 10 ounces cool whip
- 1 cup crown royal whiskey
How To Make egg nog

Step 1Beat the eggs well with an electric mixer. Add the sugar, milk, nutmeg, and cinnamon.

Step 2Cook on very low heat for 25 minutes.

Step 3In another bowl, combine the whipping cream and softened ice cream.

Step 4Combine with the cooled egg mixture. Pour into a mold and freeze. This part of the recipe can be done several days in advance.

Step 5Combine the egg nog, cool whip, and whiskey in a punch bowl when ready to serve. Add the frozen egg nog that you made. It will stay all day if frozen well.
