well this is a christmas in july punch but i have it during the holidays at parties it is a big hit

Ingredients For candy cane punch

2 jar(10 oz each) strawberry jelly

1----- 2 llemon lime soda, divided

2 qtpeppermint stick ice cream

miniature candy canes (optional)
How To Make candy cane punch

1in a large saucepan, melt jelly with 2 cups soda. chill the jelly mixture and remaining soda.

2just before serving, place 6 cups ice cream in a punch bowl. gently stir in jelly mixture.

3add remaining soda. add remaining ice cream by scoopfuls. garnish with candy canes, if desired.
