I was a caterer for over 40 years and served more punch than I can remember, this was by far the favorite and least expensive for a large gathering. I would make an ice-ring using lemonade and add sliced oranges, lemons and lime to float in punch bowl. Looks great and doesn't dilute the punch.

Ingredients For bunch of punch

  • 2 oz
    citric acid (found with canning supplies)
  • 2 qt
    boiling water
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 5 qt
    cold water
  • 1-46 oz
    pineapple juice
  • 1-12 oz
    orange juice, frozen concentrate, thawed
  • 1-12 oz
    lemonade, frozen concentrate, thawed
  • ginger ale

How To Make bunch of punch

  • 1
    Mix citric acid and boiling water in a non-reactive heatproof container; stir until dissolved. Let stand 24 hours.

    Combine sugar and cold water; stir until dissolved. Add citric acid mixture, chilled pineapple juice, orange juice concentrate and lemonade. (Do not dilute concentrates) Stir well. Add ginger ale to taste serve over ice.
