Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 8 cups cold water
  • 1 1/3 cups fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest, grated fine
  • - lemon slices and fresh mint leaves

How To Make back porch lemonade

  • Step 1
    Combine sugar and 1 cup of water in small saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and cool completely. Add rest of ingredients and stir well. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves. Makes 2 ½ Quarts.
