Serves:
2 1/2 quarts

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    water
  • 8 c
    cold water
  • 1 1/3 c
    fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon zest, grated fine
  • ·
    lemon slices and fresh mint leaves

How to Make Back Porch Lemonade

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine sugar and 1 cup of water in small saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and cool completely. Add rest of ingredients and stir well. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and mint leaves. Makes 2 ½ Quarts.
