This is the way I have been making tea for a long time. So good.

Ingredients
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda (removes bitterness)
- 1 quart (4-5 cups) boiling water
- 3-4 large luzianne or lipton tea bags (or 8 regular size tea bags)
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
How To Make sweet tea denise

Step 1Put 1/4 tsp. soda in pan.

Step 2Put 3-4 Family Size tea bags or 8 regular size tea bags in pan. Pour about a quart of boiled water over tea bags and stir well. Let sit until desired strength (about 10-15 minutes) Remove tea bags.

Step 3Add 1 1/2 cups sugar and stir until combined well. Pour into a gallon pitcher.

Step 4Add enough cold water to the pitcher to make a gallon. Stir well. Refrigerate after making.
