How to Make Southern Sweet Tea

  1. Place tea bags in a microwave safe container, add two cups of water. (be sure that your container is steep, tea will sometimes boil out if not) Set microwave on high for 5 minutes.
  2. While tea is boiling, fill gallon pitcher about 1/3 full of water. Add two cups of sugar and stir.
  3. When tea is a dark brown color add this to the pitcher. Add enough water to complete the gallon. Stir well.
  4. Serve over ice and enjoy!
