REQUIRES 24 HOUR STEEPING TIME! This delicious orange-infused vermouth can replace orange bitters in a martini, and gives a depth of complexity that the bitters can't provide.

- 1 bottle dry vermouth
How To Make orange vermouth
-
Step 1Wash the orange and place it in a glass container large enough to hold it and the 750 ml bottle of vermouth. Add the vermouth to the container. Make sure the orange is completely submerged. Close the container or wrap it tightly. Place it in a dark, cool place for 24 hours. Don't throw away the bottle - you will use it for the finished product.
-
Step 2Remove the orange. Using a funnel, transfer the finished vermouth to the empty vermouth bottle. Refrigerate before using, but DO NOT freeze.
