Mango Lassi

What a delicious and refreshing drink for a hot summer day.

I used plain goat yogurt in this. It gave it a different flavour from using cow's milk yogurt which we liked. This is very thick.

I put my ice cubes right into the blender, but you can just pour the lassi over the ice too.

Ingredients

1 large
ripe mango, peeled and flesh removed
1 1/2 c
plain yogurt (i used goat)
1/2 c
chilled filtered water
1 Tbsp
granulated sugar subsitute (i used xylitol)
pinch of cardamom (optional)
ice cubes

Step-By-Step

1I got the original recipe from the South Beach Diet Taste of Summer Cookbook.

In a blender combine everything but the ice.
2Blend until smooth.
3Pour the mango lassi over the ice cubes.
4Serve and Enjoy!
