mango lassi
What a delicious and refreshing drink for a hot summer day. I used plain goat yogurt in this. It gave it a different flavour from using cow's milk yogurt which we liked. This is very thick. I put my ice cubes right into the blender, but you can just pour the lassi over the ice too.

Ingredients
- 1 large ripe mango, peeled and flesh removed
- 1 1/2 cups plain yogurt (i used goat)
- 1/2 cup chilled filtered water
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar subsitute (i used xylitol)
- - pinch of cardamom (optional)
- - ice cubes
How To Make mango lassi

Step 1I got the original recipe from the South Beach Diet Taste of Summer Cookbook. In a blender combine everything but the ice.

Step 2Blend until smooth.

Step 3Pour the mango lassi over the ice cubes.
