I've made this creation using the liqueur and the almond extract and both are good. I've also added a good dose of cinnamon at times and used frozen coffee cubes in place of plain ice.. This is wonderful no matter what I do to it.

Ingredients For kahluaccino

  • 3/4 c
    nonfat milk
  • 3/4 c
    strong coffee
  • 1/2 c
    kahlua or 1⁄2 cup frangelico
  • 3 c
    ice
  • 4 tsp
    sugar/splenda or to taste
  • chocolate shavings (to garnish, optional)

How To Make kahluaccino

  • 1
    Combine milk and coffee in a blender. Add Kahlua (or Frangelico), ice and sugar. Puree until frothy. Divide among 4 glasses and garnish with shaved chocolate if desired.

    Non-alcoholic variation: Omit the alcohol and add 1/4 teaspoon or more almond extract.
