A girlfriend gave me this recipe years ago. My Sister, and one of my girlfriends always want a bottle when I am making it. I like it with cream or milk. My Sister likes a shot in her coffee sometimes.

Ingredients
- 750 milliliters vodka (100 proof is best)
- 4 cups water
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons instant coffee powder
How To Make kahlua

Step 1Bring water, sugar and powdered coffee to boil. Remove from heat. Add vanilla extract. Cool.

Step 2Add Vodka. Bottle, using a funnel. (Wine bottles work great or whiskey bottles).

Step 3I like to let it cure for at least 36 to 48 hrs.
