A girlfriend gave me this recipe years ago. My Sister, and one of my girlfriends always want a bottle when I am making it. I like it with cream or milk. My Sister likes a shot in her coffee sometimes.

Ingredients For kahlua

750 ml

vodka (100 proof is best)
4 c

water
3 c

sugar
1 1/2 tsp

pure vanilla extract
3 Tbsp

instant coffee powder

How To Make kahlua

Bring water, sugar and powdered coffee to boil. Remove from heat. Add vanilla extract. Cool.

Add Vodka. Bottle, using a funnel. (Wine bottles work great or whiskey bottles).

I like to let it cure for at least 36 to 48 hrs.
