Ingredients
- - 2 cups apple cider
- - 1 cup dark rum or more depending on taste
- - 3 tbsp butter
- - 4 tbsp brown sugar
- - a few cloves for taste
- - 1/2 tsp each cinnamon and nutmeg
- - whipped cream
How To Make hot buttered rum with apple cider

Step 1In a saucepan melt butter with brown sugar. Don't burn sugar. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and cider. Heat until almost a boil. Add rum and lower heat to simmer a few minutes. Strain while pouring into cups. Top with whipped cream
