How to Make Horchata


  1. Put rice into a blender with 2 cups water. Blend until rice is broken up and water milky.
  2. Pour into pitcher with 4 cups of water. Add cinnamon and let sit overnight. The longer it sits, the milky it will taste.
  3. Pour into another pitcher or large bowl using cheese cloth to strain rice and cinnamon sticks out.
  4. Add all other ingredients and mix well. Pour over ice and enjoy.
