I cook with Kahlua and this homemade brew is great for that and much cheaper. p.s. makes a good gift too.

Ingredients

Step 2

Add instant coffee; boil for 5 minutes.
Step 3

Remove from heat and add vanilla bean.
Step 4

Allow to cool. Add 1 quart vodka. Let sit 2-3 weeks to develop flavor.
Step 5

Makes about a half a gallon.
