cranberry iced tea
This Cranberry Iced Tea is quite refreshing! Before I start preparing the tea, I place the frozen can of cranberry juice concentrate on the kitchen counter. Which helps to unthaw it, and so I can finish preparing the cranberry iced tea.

Ingredients
- 12 cups water (see *note)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar (or 18 packets of saccharin sweetener)
- 11 tea bags (I used decaffeinated black tea bags)
- 1 can frozen cranberry juice concentrate (12 oz)
- ladle ice cubes, to add to your glass (I added 7)
How To Make cranberry iced tea
-
Step 1Put water in a large stockpot and heat on high until boiling.
-
Step 2Once boiling, add a 3/4 cup granulated sugar, or 18 packets of saccharin sweetener; stir until the sugar has dissolved.
-
Step 3Place the tea bags in the stockpot, and let steep for 15 minutes, then removed the tea bags, and discard them.
-
Step 4Stir in the cranberry juice concentrate and allow to thoroughly chill in the refrigerating.
-
Step 5Now add several large ice cubes to your glass. (I added 7 large ice cubes.) To which I then pour in the chilled cranberry flavored tea.
-
Step 6*Note: It has been quite some time since I prepared this beverage. So, recently when I did, I found I needed to add a bit more water, as it seemed a bit too sweet for me. You may need to add an additional 1/2 cup or a 3/4 cup of water. Which I ended up with 94-ounces of Cranberry Iced Tea.
