The Coquito is a typical holiday drink in Puerto Rico (similar to the US eggnog). We drink “coquito” only during Christmas and New Years during family gatherings. I collect old wine bottles and make this drink as a Christmas gift to my neighbors - they now expect it every Christmas Eve.
