I first encountered this delightful drink when I visited New Orleans for the first time in 1980. A year or so later it was served at a champagne brunch at the grand opening of the radio/tv station where my husband worked. This refreshing drink can be habit forming! Photo by lazyme

Ingredients
- 8 ounces orange juice
- 1 bottle dry champagne (good brand)
- 2 ounces triple sec or grand marnier
- 4 - orange slices
How To Make classic mimosa

Step 1Chill 4 champagne glasses in the freezer until frosty.

Step 2Pour 2 ounces of orange juice into each glass. Fill almost full with champagne and then top off each glass with a splash of Triple Sec.

Step 3Garnish with orange slices and serve while cold.
