chilled vanilla-almond coffee

This is my second attempt in preparing a chilled coffee recipe, and I was satisfied as to how it turned out. Just place the coffee in the refrigerator to chill, then enjoy your beverage. Whatever you do, don't add ice cubes!

Ingredients For chilled vanilla-almond coffee

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons instant coffee, decaffeinated coffee
  • 2 tablespoons sugar, or 3 packets of n'joy zero calorie sweetener
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon pure almond extract
  • 1/3 cup 2% milk

How To Make chilled vanilla-almond coffee

    Add water and coffee in a coffee mug.

    Place coffee mug in the microwave, and heat until coffee is hot. (I microwaved mine for 1 minute & 25 seconds, and I have a 1,000 watt microwave oven.)

    Now add the suage or 3 packets of N'Joy Zero Calorie Sweetener; stir well.

    Add the vanilla extract and almond extract, and once again stir with a spoon.

    Add the milk, stir, then place your coffee mug in the refrigerator; allow coffee to chill.

    Yields: 1-1/4 cups (or 12-ounces)
