How to Make Alice Hastings Coffee Liqueur
- In large pan, mix sugar, coffee, water and salt. Stir over low heat til sugar and coffee dissolve. Bring to full boil.
- Reduce heat. Barely simmer for 30 minutes. Remove from heat. Add vodka and vanilla extract. Blend well. Cool. Fill canning or freezing jars 3/4 full. Seal. Store in refrigerator or freezer. Makes about 1 1/2 quarts.
