Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh or dried rose petals
- 2 cups boiled water
- 2 lemons
- 2 cups cane sugar
- 1 teaspoon beetroot powder
How To Make rose cordial recipe

Step 1Remove any damaged petals and insects before using them in the recipe

Step 2Grate lemon zest from 2 organic lemon

Step 3In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil, add sweetener and let the sugar dissolve

Step 4Add roses, lemon slices, and citric acid if using. At this stage, also add beetroot powder if using,

Step 5Bring it to a boil, remove it from the heat and cover the lid.

Step 6Let the mixture infuse for at least 24 hours.

Step 7through a fine-mesh strainer to remove the petals and citrus.

Step 8Bottle the cordial into sterilized glass bottles, seal it, and transfer it in the fridge.
