2 qtcold milk
1 pkg(3.4 ounces) instant french vanilla or vanilla pudding mix*
1 tspground nutmeg
1 tspvanilla extract
1/8 tspsalt (optional)
1 cheavy whipping cream
·additional nutmeg (optional)

How to Make Mock Eggnog
- In a mixing bowl, beat milk and pudding mix (regular or sugar-free), on low speed for 2 minutes. Beat in the sugar (or sweetener), nutmeg, vanilla, and salt (if using).
- In another mixing bowl, beat cream, until thickened, about 3 minutes. Stir into pudding mixture. Refrigerate, until serving.
- Sprinkle with additional nutmeg, if desired. Makes 2 1/2 quarts, about 10 servings.
