Ingredients
- 3 cups milk
- 3 cups water
- 5 - cardamom pods, cracked
- 2 - whole cloves
- 6 - 1 inch pieces of cinnamon stick
- 6 tablespoons sugar ot to taste
- 6 tablespoons coffee, regular grind
How To Make masala coffee (india)

Step 1Combine water and milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add cinnamon, cardamom pods, sugar and coffee into boiling liquid in saucepan.

Step 2Stir a few times and boil over medium heat 3 to 4 minutes. Make sure it does not boil over.

Step 3Strain coffee through cheesecloth or coffee filter into another pan. Keep a piece of cinnamon stick in each cup if desired. Place coffee over heat and bring to a boil.

Step 4Pour coffee between two pans until thick and creamy. Serve in cups immediately.
