My son woke up with a cough and sore throat this morning so I whipped out my friend's recipe. As I was making this tea, I tho't it would be a nice one to share. While it doesn't really have medicinal properties, it is very soothing not to mention tasty and comforting.

Ingredients

How to Make Lemon Sore Throat Tea

Step-by-Step

  1. For concentrate:
    Mix together sugar, lemon juice, cream of tartar and 1 c. hot water.
  2. To make a cup of tea:
    Stir 1/3 cup of concentrate into a teacup. Add enough boiling water to fill the cup. Stir and enjoy.
  3. Store extra concentrate in the fridge. Concentrate will keep for several days.
