Ingredients For iced tea syrup

  • 2 qt
    water
  • 1/4 lb
    tea (loose)
  • 3 lb
    sugar

How To Make iced tea syrup

  • 1
    Bring water to a rolling boil.
  • 2
    Add tea & remove from heat. Cover with lid & steep for 10 minutes (or until all the good is out of the tea)
  • 3
    Strain & add sugar while tea is still hot.
  • 4
    Cool, pour into glass jar with tight fitting lid. Store in refrigerator.
  • 5
    Note: This recipe can be doubled using 5 lbs of sugar.
