Ingredients For homemade lemonade
1 1/2 cpowdered sugar, or to taste
8 cdistilled water, divided
1 1/2 cfreshly squeezed lemon juice
2-3 slicelemon, for garnish
How To Make homemade lemonade
1In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine 1 ½ cups of water with powdered sugar. Stir until sugar is completely dissolved, about 3-4 minutes. Allow to cool at room temperature before transferring to the fridge.
2Juice lemon, making sure there are no seeds, and set aside. In a large pitcher, combine syrup, lemon juice and the remaining water. Transfer to the fridge until very chilled. Garnish with lemon slices. Makes 10 cups
