    thin slices ginger 1 inch in diameter
  • 4
    green tea bags
  • 1/2 cup
    sugar divided
  • 1/4 cup
    freshly squeezed lime juice 2 to 3 limes
  • ·
    ice cubes
  • ·
    sugar lime slices

How to Make CHINESE GINER-LIME ICE GREEN TEA

Step-by-Step

  1. Bring water and ginger to a boil in large saucepan.pour water over tea bags in teapot.steep 3 min.remove and discard tea bags and ginger.stir in 1/4 cup sugar;cool tea to room temperature.
  2. mix remaining 1/4 cup sugar with lime juice; add to tea. pour tea into 4 ice filled glasses.Garnish with slices.
