Tasty and family pleasing. Very easy to keep on hand, ready to pour, during the summer.

Ingredients

  • 8 cups water
  • 12 - blackberry herbal tea bags ot to taste
  • 3 - cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cranberry juice or more if you wish
  • - sugar substitute, to taste
  • - ice cubes or crushed ice
  • - garnish: mint leaves and frest blackberries (optional)

How To Make blackberry iced tea with cinnamon, ginger-diabetic

  • Step 1
    In a large pan, heat water to just before boiling. Add tea bags, 2 of the cinnamon sticks and ginger. Remove from heat, cover and let steep for 15-30 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Pass the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve, placed over a pitcher. Add the juice and sweetener to taste and refrigerate until very cold. To serve fill chilled glasses with ice and garnish if you like. Pour the tea over the top of the ice, Serve immediately and enjoy.
