According to my "Favorite Recipes" 1987 cookbook, where all the recipes were submitted by people in Michigan, this recipe was submitted by Gerald Ford, or so it states in the cookbook. Whether he did or didn't, it's good!

Ingredients For gerald ford's ice cream bombe

  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    solid pack pumpkin
  • 1 pt
    vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 c
    firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    instant coffee granules
  • 1 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground nutmeg

    In blender container, place milk & remaining ingredients. Cover; blend at high speed until smooth.
