If your not a big fan of white chocolate then you may use a good quality bittersweet chocolate and it will be wonderful dark and pleasing. In this case I like using white chocolate, it adds an elegance that is so nice, especially when serving it to guests. You can take it in a Thermos for a winter outing and it will be so warm and comforting when your ready for it. If your having guests offer a selection of spirits and let them choose what to add.
