sweet, spiked and spicy hot chocolate
I know this looks like a lot of ingredients but it goes quickly and is so very worth the bit of effort. Honestly, you won't believe how good this is until you taste it for yourself. I found this last winter at: http://www.hungrycouplenyc.com and made it several times then and now find myself looking forward to the cooler weather so I can continue to enjoy this wee wonder again this fall and winter.

Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 2 ounces milk chocolate
- 1 ounce semi-sweet chocolate
- 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons smooth peanut butter
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 pinch of cayenne pepper
- 1 pinch of sea salt
- 1 1/2 ounces captain morgan spiced rum
- large marshmallows (optional but nice)
How To Make sweet, spiked and spicy hot chocolate

Step 1Add the milk, sugar and chocolate to a small pot and cook on a low heat, stirring constantly, until the chocolate and sugar have dissolved.

Step 2Whisk in the peanut butter until smooth and add the spices. Remove from the heat, stir in the rum and pour into a mug or glass.

Step 3Stir in the marshmallows and they will begin to melt and enrich the cocoa. Serve hot.
