Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh strong brewed coffee
- 1 - square unsweetened chocolate, chopped
- - sweeten as you like
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon annatto or to taste
- 1/2 cup milk dairy or other
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- - whipped topping - optional
How To Make spiced brazilian mocha
-
Step 1Mix coffee and chocolate in a heavy saucepan. Heat on very low temperature until chocolate is melted and mixture is well blended, stirring constantly to blend.
-
Step 2Add sugar and spices and bring just to a boil while continuing to stir.
-
Step 3When it starts to bubble gradually add milk and vanilla, stirring until well blended.
-
Step 4Continue to heat until it's where you want it (I like it good and warm but not very hot)
-
Step 5Pour into cups and top with whipped topping if using. Garnish with a light sprinkling of additional cinnamon and annatto mix if desired.
