pumpkin pie coffee and pancake syrup

This easy coffee syrup can double as a nice pancake syrup. WE had it today on my Pumpkin Pie Pecan pancakes. Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups water
  • 3 1/2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 4 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 quart jar, with hole cut in lid to allow pump dispenser to slide in.
  • 1 - plastic pump dispenser (micheals)
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla

How To Make pumpkin pie coffee and pancake syrup

  • Step 1
    Sterilize jar, lid and pump dispenser In a sauce pan stir together the water, spice and sugar. Cook until mixture becomes thick and syrupy maybe 15 minutes. Cool and stir in vanilla extract. Fill jar with cooled mixture. Screw on lid and slide in pump dispenser. Serve with your favorite coffee drink.

    NOTE: You could also put into pint Jars and include a honey ladle or pint or qt alcohol jars and attach a pour spout. Or an old Pancake syrup bottle with a built in pour spout
