1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup baking cocoa
2 tsp. instant coffee
3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
dash salt
4 cups milk
1 tsp. vanilla

How to Make Mexican Chocolate


  • 1Mix sugar, cocoa, instant coffee, cinnamon and salt in pan
  • 2Gradually add 1 cup milk, beating with whisk til smooth.
  • 3Bring to boil over low heat. Stir constantly. Add remaining milk
  • 4Bring to boil. Stir frequently. Add vanilla. Beat with whisk til frothy before stirring
