Ausitria's most famous coffee beverage, the emperor's melange. Rich and filling - use organic eggs to be safe with the egg yolk. I post this as German recipe because JAP doesn't have Austrian recipes, but it is Austrian!!

Ingredients

  • 1 large espresso
  • 1 - egg yolk (raw)
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon cognac (1 shot)

How To Make kaisermelange coffee

  • Step 1
    Cream together raw egg yolk and honey.
  • Step 2
    Brew one large espresso and slowly pour the hot espresso into the honey-egg mixture, stirring constantly to avoid curdling.
  • Step 3
    Finish with one shot cognac.
