Ingredients
- 6 1/2 cups dry red wine
- 1/3 cup brandy or rum
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 8 - whole cloves
- 3 cups apple juice or cider
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 8 - 9" sticks cinnamon
- 1 - apple, thinly sliced
How To Make hot wine punch, mom's

Step 1Combine wine, apple juice, brandy, raisins and sugar in saucepan. Tie spices in cheesecloth bag and add to wine. Heat until nearly boiling. Simmer uncovered, 10 min. Do NOT boil. Garnish with apple slices and extra cinnamon sticks. If you wish, this may be cooked in a crockpot by covering and cooking on low 3 hours.
