  • 4 c
    boiling water
  • 2
    tea bags
  • 1 qt
    apple cider
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1
    cinnamon stick, crushed
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp
    allspice, ground
  • 2 c
    orange juice
  • 1 c
    lemon juice
  • 1
    orange, unpeeled, slice into cartwheels
  • 1
    lemon, unpeeled, slice into cartwheels

How to Make Hot Spiced Cider


  1. Pour boiling water over tea bags. Steep for 5 minutes. Remove bags.
  2. Combine cider, browm sugar, crushed cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 4 to 5 minutes.
  3. Add orange and lemon juice and hot tea. Heat but do not boil. Serve and enjoy!
