Mmmmmm Good! Make a single cup to sip as you read by the fire or make a thermos full and take it along. Of course you can use fresh brewed coffee in place of the instant if you wish. Can be diabetic by using sugar free caramel sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee crystals ot more to taste (personally i would brew fresh coffee)
  • 8 ounces boiling water
  • 2-3 tablespoons butterscotch sundae sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon rum extract (or as much of the real thing as you wish)
  • - whipped topping

How To Make hot buttered rum coffee (nonalcoholic or not)

  • Step 1
    Stir together the Instant Coffee Crystals with the boiling water until dissolved.
  • Step 2
    Stir in the butterscotch topping and rum extract to mix well.
  • Step 3
    Top with the whipped topping and serve immediately.
