- 2 cups (500 ml) hot milk
- 1/3 cup (80 ml) chocolate syrup
- 1/4 cup (60 ml) chocolate liqueur
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) almond extract
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) 35 % cream
- - a pinch of ground nutmeg
- - top with shaved chocolate
How To Make continental hot chocolate

Step 1Combine hot milk, chocolate syrup and liqueur and almond extract.

Step 2Whip cream until softly stiff. Pour milk mixture into cups or mugs.

Step 3Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with nutmeg.
