3 qt or 6 pint jars


  • 6 c
    powdered milk
  • 1 pkg
    (5 ounce) non-instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 c
    powdered chocolate drink mix
  • 1 c
    dried marsmellows ( just leave out to air a week or two)
  • 1/2 c
    powdered non dairy creamer
  • 1/2 c
    confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 c
    unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 c
    crushed candy canes

How to Make Candy Cane Hot Cocoa "Gift in a jar"


  1. In a large bowl, combine powdered milk, chocolate pudding mix, chocolate drink mix powder, creamer, confectioners' sugar, crushed candy canes and cocoa. Divide the mixture between three (1 quart) jars or six (1 pint) jars. Seal, and decorate as desired. These can be stored in a dry area for 3 months.

  3. Candy Cane Hot Cocoa:

    Dissolve 1/3 cup cocoa mix in 1 cup boiling water. (two heaping tablespoons.)
