this is my twist on a recipe that i got out of a christmas cookbook I have made it for years and i give it away as christmas presents every year with a jug of apple cider

Ingredients

2 cups sugar
1 package red hot candies
3 - tbs. cinnamon
1 - tsp. ground cloves
1 1/2 - tsp. ground allspice
1/4 - tsp. nutmeg

How To Make candy apple hot apple cider spice mix

Step 1

add all ingredients together

Step 2

add 1/3 of mixture to 1 gal. of apple cider
Step 3

heat over med heat stir til red hots are dissolved and it's ready for drinking.
